Appliance Ring Fill and Seal Machine

This appliance balance ring fill and seal machine was designed, built, tested, and installed by Arnold Machine Inc. The machine uses a variety of processes including indexing, vacuuming, filling, ultrasonic welding, and laser engraving. The system nests and clamps the part in the dial table and indexes to the vacuum fill station where the internal air is evacuated by vacuum and replaced with dampening fluid.  The system then places a cap in the fill hole and ultrasonically welds it in place before leaktesting the seal.  Finished parts are laser marked with date code and pass/fail status.
