Automotive Seat Trim Relaxing Oven

Made of structural steel, aluminum, and stainless steel, this automotive seat relaxing oven was designed according to client specifications, and engineered in Solid Edge. The oven was manufactured using mechanical and controls engineering, laser cutting, several CNC processes, welding, and mechanical assembly. We also configured the oven using electrical wiring and PLC programming—as a result, the oven was capable of infrared heating, vertical burning, and instant on elements. Before testing, the oven was painted and powder coated. The final oven measured 12' long, 7' wide, 8' tall, and weighed 1,500 lbs. The delivery time was 10 weeks, with 6 to 10 ovens delivered over the course of a year. In addition to upholding tight tolerances of +/- 0.0005", we also adhered to CSA/ESA standards.
