Automotive Sidelight Robotic Cell

This robotic cell assembles the lift plates to automotive side windows. The sidelites are brought in on racks, and a robot senses the position of the side window and puts it on the fixture table. The sidelight is then primed where the clip bracket will be attached. The windows are picked up and moved to the next station while the robot gets the next window from the rack. In the next step, another robot picks two lift plates from vibratory bowl feeders. The second robot then moves the clip to another station where an adhesive is automatically applied. The robot then places the brackets on a fixture that presses the clip on with a pneumatic cylinder. The completed side windows picked and placed on an outfeed conveyor that takes them out of the cell.
