Forge a Career in Fabrication

Discover a skilled trade career path with on-the-job training and expert guidance from fabrication professionals, without the need for student loans. Our Fabrication Development Program provides hands on experience, full-time benefits and a lucrative career trajectory.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Our Fabricator Development Program is designed to provide individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to become skilled fabricators. This program goes beyond the process of welding to join materials together. Fabrication is a broader process of building structures, machines, or other equipment by cutting, shaping, and assembling various materials and components.

Participants will undergo a comprehensive training program that combines classroom instruction with hands-on experience in a real-world fabrication environment. The program aims to prepare people for a successful career in mild and stainless-steel fabrication and become leaders in building industrial washer and automation projects.

PROGRAM DURATION

The development program will typically take 3-5 years to complete, depending on the person's prior experience and skill level.  During this time, developing fabricators will be assigned a mentor and train with various experienced fabricators in addition to classroom instruction.

Participants will be evaluated quarterly to the Level milestone goals.  Goals for the next 90 days will be established at each evaluation.  Participants may reach certain Levels before or after the anticipated timing.  Participants with some experience or education in the trade may test out of some Levels.  Increases in pay will come with each Level advancement.  It is not necessary to advance all the way to level 6, we have needs at all levels.  Some participants may find a comfort level and decide to stay there.

CERTIFICATIONS + EXPECTATIONS

Participants will be required to attain various AWS certifications in mild and stainless steel welding during the program.

After completion of Level 2, Students will be considered Fabricators at Arnold Machine. They can stay at that level or continue on to advanced fabrication skills seen in level 3 - 6.
